I am Pro-business. As a small business owner and Chamber of Commerce member, I know the role of business in making our communities strong. I will support an environment that grows business, not restricts it.

I am a fiscal conservative. Kent County is the 4th largest county in Michigan with the 12th lowest county taxes levied. Kent County has historically done a great job exercising wise stewardship of its resources and I will stay committed to that goal.

I am Pro-Public Safety. I support those protecting our community and hold them in the highest regard.

I am a pro-active problem solver. Kent County is facing many issues and challenges in the years ahead. As your commissioner from Wyoming, I will work toward solutions to issues such as:

• Funding for PFAS Remediation

• Lead Poison Clean up

• A new Control Tower at GR FORD Airport

• Adequate Funding for Mental Health Services

• Taking Care of our Veterans and Seniors

• Early Childhood Development

• Continued Collaboration with Cities (ex. 911 Dispatch, Fire, Ambulance services)

• Kent Schools Services Network (KSSN); we need social workers in our schools

• County Landfill Issues and providing a sustainable business model for the future

• Attainable Housing

• Juvenile Crime

• And more as the needs arise
